Founded in 1935 it has been a major producer of films ever since. 20^th century fox has been producing films of varying genres over the years a notable example is Alvin and the Chipmunks and Alien. The company has many different local branches across the world but it is mainly based in Central City, Los Angeles USA. The main benefit from being in this location is that it is quite close to Hollywood and so acting talent is always nearby and also the building regulations and the tax for producing anything that will be televised is a lot lower than anywhere else.

20^th Century Fox is a large company which was created by the merger of two companies in 1935: 20^th Century productions and Fox films. It is currently owned by Rupert Murdoch who also owns a large amount of the world’s media institutions. Now the company as I have touched upon has made many different films from different genres ranging from Children’s animation to Adult’s horror.

I have chosen 20^th Century Fox as my producer because it has over 60 years of film making experience, it has created over 100 films before, and it has a very large and well respected reputation, and finally because it is likely to have the resources needed like the money for resources and the advertising no how to successfully market and distribute my thriller.

Also another reason I chose it is because it is situated in the movie capital of the world Los Angeles and so many will simply have to look at it or anything coming from that area because it has produced so many classics before.
