This film poster already gives us a taste of what to expect from the film we can already see the traits of the Thriller genre we see that the light is quite dark which is to inspire a feeling of dread into the audience even though it is during the day. Another thing we notice about this poster is that the three main characters are in the centre of the poster which corresponds to the rule of thirds, but we notice the people look scared clutching each other for protection or in fear and that tells us that they are running or trying to get away from. Finally the city behind them is empty which means that a large event has occured which could be what they are running from.
